A large number of small private businesses suffered enormous damage due to floods. Business owners, with their businesses as main source of income, could not wait long for help and immediately after the water receded from their objects, started with cleaning and preparing for restarting the business. Help’s priority after floods is to provide conditions for life and restart the economic cycle. As part of its activities, by drying 35 housing units, we provided possibility to start their adaptation.
We helped renovating 18 housing units in Doboj and Maglaj, renovated shared bathroom and common areas and donated 20 beds for inhabitants of social housing building in the city of Maglaj. We helped in restarting five small craft and service businesses which would not be able to continue their activities after the flood, without support. We have provided support to 223 small farmers and agricultural businesses from Odzak which can now resume their production cycle.
