From February 1, 2023, Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. BH started the implementation of the project “Support to the socio-economic stability of the Western Balkan region 2023-2024”.

The project is financed by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the Pact for the Stability of Southeast Europe with the participation of the project municipalities. Beneficiaries can be all socially vulnerable categories of the population with sound business ideas for starting or developing their own economic activity. Special support through this project will be given to applications submitted by women, young people, single parents and people with permanent disabilities. The average value of an individual donation is set at the equivalent of EUR 2,500 for ideas in the field of agricultural production strategically defined between each municipality and Help. Each user will be obliged to co-finance 20% of the total amount of the donation, to register their activity within three months of receiving the equipment and/or materials, to perform 10 hours of community service for the local community and to attend basic training determined by the Help page.
