German support for flood-affected zones in Bosnia and Herzegovina also extended to women’s associations, which contributed their solidarity and assistance to the residents of Jablanica and Konjic.
The organization Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. BH donated an oven and other essential equipment to the hardworking women of MOST M d.o.o Jablanica for preparing hot meals for people in the flood-affected areas of Jablanica. Women from the associations “Kovači” and “Krivaja Iskra” (City of Zavidovići) collected significant quantities of hygiene products, blankets, bed linens, and towels for the affected population of Konjic.
The donation was sent to the association “Žena za ženu” Konjic, which will distribute it further to those in greatest need. Our partner, Express Courier d.o.o. – Authorized Service Contractor for UPS and UPS SCS, once again provided free transportation as part of Help’s activities supporting flooded areas.
The women’s association “Kovači” also organized a humanitarian cake bazaar, raising 3,036 BAM to assist Jablanica.
