Research has shown that people feel much happier when giving gifts than when buying presents for themselves.
Today, beneficiaries of the project SOE10-23/24 “Inclusion and Economic Empowerment in the Western Balkans” from the Visoko area brought joy to both themselves and the beneficiaries of the Public Kitchen in Visoko, managed by the Youth Volunteers Association from Visoko.
Namely, 22 project beneficiaries, whose small businesses were supported through the procurement of specific equipment necessary to improve their work, gathered today to deliver a donation to the Public Kitchen.
Based on the information that chicken meat and frozen vegetables are the items most needed by the Public Kitchen, the project beneficiaries donated around 100 kg of meat and a significant quantity of vegetables.
With this act, they wanted to give back to their community a part of what they had received through the project. People are kind and eager for opportunities to show it.
The organization Help and the City of Visoko provided them with this opportunity today. We hope this will inspire others to visit institutions of this kind more often and, with their small contributions, make a big difference for those in need.
Help BiH expresses its gratitude to everyone who responded to this call.
This activity is part of the project SOE10-23/24 “Inclusion and Economic Empowerment in the Western Balkans,” implemented by Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. BH, with the support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany through the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe and with the participation of municipal authorities.
