As part of the activities to mark the 25 years of work of non-governmental organization Help in South Eastern Europe, planting of thuje and laurel seedlings has been organized in Ljubinje. The action in Ljubinje was realized with the support of volunteers – beneficiaries of the Help program.
The activity was implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubinje and a local communal company, while the number of seedlings were a gift from the “Centar za gazdovanje kršom” institution from Trebinje. The belt along the main road passing through the town itself has been arranged, and in the next day in the rural parts of the Municipality there will be planted euodia – a tree of great use for beekeeping.
As part of marking the 25th anniversary of Help, by the end of March, 4,000 seedlings are planned to be planted in the Municipality of Jablanica – Prenj Mountain, while a similar action is planned for the beginning of the April in Vlasenica Municipality.
