Thanks to the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the playground in the Obilićevo neighborhood of Banja Luka has received a complete makeover!
This space now offers a safe and modern environment where children can enjoy playing, develop social skills, and build friendships.
As part of its commitment to improving living conditions for young people, the EU has invested significant funds in upgrading infrastructure in Banja Luka. Within this initiative, 200,000 BAM was allocated to renovate three playgrounds that were in poor condition, outdated, and unsuitable for safe use.
All three renovations were carried out in collaboration with the City of Banja Luka, with funding provided through the project “EU for Local Communities” implemented by the Center for Promotion of Civil Society in partnership with Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. BH.
