“Established Important Partnership for the Development of BPO/ICT Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina”

Help in Bosnia and Herzegovina signed today a very important and long-term partnership agreement for further development of the BPO /ICT sectors across the Western Balkans with the Association of Business Service Leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina ABSL BIH  within the RECONOMY program.
RECONOMY with ABSL BIH will support the growth of the BPO/ICT sector in the region by building on the successful ABSL BIH business model that will be used to establish two new country ABSLs, one in Serbia and one in Montenegro. In addition to these new country chapters of ABSL that will ensure a unified vision and strategic growth of the BPO/ICT sector, a business model will be created for the establishment of ABSL Western Balkans.
This regional organization will be established to ensure the strategic promotion of BPO/IT in the WB to systemically attract investors and create more decent jobs for youth preventing the brain drain. Together with country ABSLs the ABSL Western Balkans will offer support to new and existing investors in their expansion and growth.
Through this project, RECONOMY will support a stronger and faster collaboration among the sector and key market actors across the region and attract more investors. A platform for more effective collaboration will be created.
ABSL organizations across the Western Balkans will be stronger to create and advocate for positive policy and advocacy initiatives leading to a better business environment and growth of the sector.
RECONOMY is an inclusive and green economic development program of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency Sida, implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in partnership with Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe and others in the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkan countries.
